Level 6 Licensed Conveyancer Apprenticeship

The Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice is the second stage of academic training to become a Licensed Conveyancer. The qualification is made up of a total of three units; you must have completed Level 4 before you can progress to Level 6 or have a relevant exemption.

During the programme you will learn how to deal with legal matters which arise from the transfer of ownership of land or property, as well as how to provide legal advice to buyers and sellers of property, lending institutions and other interested parties.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will be required to complete Functional skills Level 2:

  • Maths
  • English

If you have GCSE C plus (certificates required), we can claim relevant exemptions.

What units do I need to study?

To achieve the Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice Certificate, you must:

  • Landlord and Tenant
  • Conveyancing Law and Practice
  • Managing Office and Client Accounts

How is the course delivered?

The course is delivered via blended learning, with the full support of personal tutors, all of whom hold professional legal qualifications and have been in practice.

The course is delivered in a one-to-one face-to-face training session, usually at the workplace of the learner or via our video-conferencing system. These sessions are supported by call slots and email tutorials.

How are the units assessed?

The units are assessed by extended essays/assignments and can be completed in the candidate’s own time.

How much does the course cost?

For employers that are Levy payers, there is no cost; if the employer is a none levy payer, there is a £450.00 contribution.

How long is the course?

The course can take between 18-22 months to complete depending on the individual learner and their existing qualifications and experience in the sector.

End Point Assessment (EPA)

Once you have completed the above units, you will be required to complete an EPA as part of your apprenticeship.
