The Level 4 ISM programme is designed to meet the requirements of those wishing to develop or enhance their knowledge of Sales and Marketing. This can help to either to gain employment in a sales and marketing role, or to formalise the academic side of the role.
Achievement at Level 4 reflects the ability to identify and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to complete tasks and address problems that, while well defined, have a measure of complexity. It includes taking responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, sales and marketing planning in both the short and medium term and begins to examine strategic issues.
The Level 4 Certificate in Sales and Marketing Management consists of a combination of units. To achieve the Certificate, learners must complete Units U401 and U402, worth 9 credits, and any two optional units worth a minimum of another 9 credits, totalling at least 18 credits.
